Thank you for your update Renee! Glad to hear that your family is riding lots of "highs" and doing well. Hoping that your cancer stays in check, without pain!
So happy to hear from you. I have thought of you often! Wow, Mason is turning into a man. I understand having raised two boys of my own. Savor every moment! They grow up SO fast! Would love to see you & catch up. 😘
I’m so happy to hear from you, Renee. I love that you posted the picture of Mason (even though you are right when you said he would probably kill you, lol) … wow has he grown!! What a handsome fella ☺️. I know you are so proud of him! I don’t think I’ve even seen him since you guys moved from Mirror Lake. With Halloween quickly approaching, it brings me back to those fun Halloween parties we had in Mirror Lake - the good ole days, lol.
I’m so sorry to hear about the issues with your brother. I can only imagine how hard that must be. I will be praying for reconciliation and I will also be continuing to pray for you, your team of doctors, and of course Jamie and Mason. Please tell Jamie hello from Jenny & Chris ❤️
We are So glad to hear things are somewhat stable. I am sure the side effects are not pleasant, but you are so positive.
Mason is so handsome and tall! It really seems like he is blossoming in high-school. It was wonderful to see him and Jammie at Walmart in Blairsville while they were doing the AT!
Sorry to hear about Rick, but we can only hope he is happy in his new life and that he misses Mason as much as Mason misses him.
Renee, it’s great to get your update. Obviously you’re dong that “one day at a time” thing which we can all appreciate. As I’ve said before you are the toughest lady I know. Please know that Helen and I send our love to you Jamie and Mason. Stay strong girl… I know you will 💕
I’m reading a book called “cancer was not a gift and it didn’t make me a better person“ by Nancy Stordahl. I have also written my own book of poetry called “given time: a mother daughter cancer memoir” . I join you in the firm belief that writing about our cancer journeys is a way to reclaim the humanity beneath
them. Thank you for sharing your post with us today. Glad you are back!
Thank you for sharing. I will check out that book. It sounds just about right! I do find that writing, putting pen to paper, is very therapeutic. Thank you!
