I am sorry for the delay in posting. I am still groggy from the meds and pretty weak. According to the surgeons, they are both pleased with the DMX + TRAM (double mastectomy and reconstruction). Unfortunately, the news on the lymph nodes was not as positive. The Sentinel Lymph node was cancerous. In addition, 5 additional lymph nodes had to be removed. We are in a waiting period from pathology to understand what it means and if those 5 show cancer. Luckily, those lymph nodes were close together. The results from the nodes + the Oncotype will determine the future course of treatment. Will post later.

Love to you all!
